Aquent is partnering with a leading organization to modernize data reporting capabilities, transforming how insights are delivered. Join a team focused on building state-of-the-art Power BI solutions and advanced data modeling to empower business users across operations.

You will lead migration from legacy reporting to modern data sources, design scalable dashboards, and optimize data models for performance on large datasets. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Power BI solutions with data modeling and DAX measures.
• Experience converting/rebuilding SSRS reports into Power BI or Paginated Reports.
• Proven track record transitioning reports to new data sources, updating queries, and redesigning datasets.
• Expertise with T-SQL for validating data sources and rebuilding complex queries.
• Proficiency in Power Query (M) for data shaping and transformation.
• Strong understanding of dataset architecture, model optimization, and performance tuning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for documenting logic changes and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transition of existing reporting solutions to updated data sources and platforms.
• Architect and develop Power BI solutions including data models, DAX measures, and intuitive dashboards.
• Convert legacy SSRS reports to Power BI or Paginated Reports.
• Update queries, validate data logic, and redesign datasets during migrations.
• Utilize T-SQL to validate data sources and rebuild complex queries.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze existing logic and identify improvements in Power BI.
