Job summary

Michelman Global Headquarters in Cincinnati seeks a Business Intelligence Engineer to support reporting by gathering, validating, and analyzing data using ODS, JD Edwards (JDE), MS SQL Server, SSAS, and Power BI.

You will prepare data extracts, contribute inputs to dashboards, support enhancements, and troubleshoot issues according to defined procedures. A minimum of 2 years in BI or data support is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, with 2+ years BI or data support experience.
• Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, and DAX proficiency; able to maintain/enhance solutions.
• Microsoft BI Stack: SQL Server, T-SQL, SSAS; prepare data extracts and update objects.
• JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience in production environments; routine support and data extraction.
• Data warehousing concepts and dimensional models knowledge; work within established data flows.
• Strong problem solving skills to resolve routine issues; communicate findings clearly.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical partners; time management to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Power BI reports, dashboards, KPI scorecards, and analytics using established templates.
• Log, categorize, route, and escalate Power BI, security, access, and report-request tickets; provide end-user support.
• Collate and analyze data; update SSAS models and DAX calculations per specs.
• Update T-SQL stored procedures, views, and ETL processes; escalate complex changes.
• Use JD Edwards data mappings to extract/translate ERP data into standard formats.
• Extract, compile, and manipulate data from ODS and approved sources.
