Job summary

Amazon Advertising LLC is hiring multiple Business Intelligence Engineers II in New York, NY. You will support senior management with metrics reporting and forecasting, and design innovative forecasting technologies to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities include building BI tools and automated reports using SQL, ETL, and Oracle, transforming complex problems into mathematical models, and performing statistical analyses with R/SAS/STATA/SPSS.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS/Engineering/Math/Statistics/Economics or related field with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience as Data Engineer, Data Miner, or related occupation.
• 1 year of experience using SQL, ETL or Oracle; processing large multi-dimensional datasets; statistical analysis; and automated reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support senior management by managing metrics reporting and forecasting.
• Research, design, and develop forecasting technologies to leverage data for business functions.
• Utilize SQL, ETL, and Oracle to design, develop, and evaluate BI tools and automated reports.
• Transform complex business problems into mathematical modeling with data-driven solutions.
• Perform statistical analysis using R, SAS, STATA, and SPSS.
• Establish scalable automated processes for large-scale data analyses, model development, validation, and implementation.
