Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a skilled Power BI Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade BI reports and dashboards. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable analytics solutions and collaborate with stakeholders across departments.

Applicants should have 2+ years of experience with Power BI, SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks, plus strong data modeling and ETL/ELT design experience. Healthcare analytics experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building Power BI reports in enterprise environments.
• 2+ years of SQL development and complex query optimization.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or equivalent cloud data technologies.
• Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT solutions.
• Knowledge of data modeling and SDLC methodologies.
• Strong Python or Spark SQL for data processing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
• Build and optimize ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and SQL.
• Automate data collection, transformation, validation, and distribution processes.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Investigate production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior BI engineers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
