• Analyze historical data to identify trends and support decision making, with written and verbal recommendations.
• Mine and manipulate data from databases, simulations, and log files.
• Identify data needs and drive data quality improvement.
• Understand Amazon's data resources, what to use, when to use them.
• Provide thought leadership on data mining and analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering and science teams to define features, build data pipelines, and test functionalities.
• Learn new Amazon technologies and propose adaptations.
• Conduct deep dives into anomalies and generate insights for leadership.
• Use customer input to define data requirements.
• Explain plan-vs-plan differences between expected and actual performance.
• Maintain dashboards and reporting; address data quality issues.
