Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to build metrics and insights for the Core Shopping data science team. You will leverage LLMs to measure and improve the customer experience, while managing massive data pipelines and presenting findings to senior leadership.

You will influence prioritization across teams by delivering dashboards and analyses that drive decisions for the core shopping page. Collaboration with AWS-based tools and data ecosystems is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
• Experience visualizing data with Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and ETL pipelines.
• Experience in statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab.
• SQL knowledge to pull data; Python for data processing and modeling.
• Building metrics using LLMs as a judge and AI-based tools.
• Experience with AWS services like EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
• Data mining and ETL in a large-scale business environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve metrics to measure quality of the core shopping page using LLMs.
• Manage large, complex data pipelines processing terabytes of data daily.
• Provide insights to senior leaders to influence priorities and decisions.
