Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer for the AWS Field Experience BPO to own measurement and analytics for agentic AI automation across operations. The role blends data engineering, BI, and AI operations to quantify automation impact and feed reporting with robust data pipelines.

You will partner with internal customers to deliver insights, build reliable ETL/ELT pipelines, and advance data quality at the source in a fast-moving automation-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience.
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.
• Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.
• Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deliver BI solutions that measure AI automation impact on operations.
• Identify key metrics to evaluate automation effectiveness and drive strategy.
• Analyze problems and understand interaction between AI workflows and human operations.
• Build and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and scheduling infrastructure.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses of automation performance and present recommendations to leadership.
• Produce written insights for stakeholders shaping metric development and decisions.
• Automate reporting and data-driven activities, leveraging AI tooling where applicable.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and platform teams to improve data infrastructure and access.
• Develop best practices in data integrity and pipeline reliability.
• Instrument AI automation systems for measurable outcomes with engineering teams
