Job summary

CNA in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to translate business needs into dashboards and insights. You will partner with stakeholders, perform SQL-based data analysis, and build Tableau visualizations to enable data-driven decisions.

You will work with data warehouse and lakehouse architectures, optimize reporting performance, and support migration from legacy tools while ensuring data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, data science, statistics, information systems or related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data-reporting roles.
• Proficient in SQL across multiple dialects and in Tableau for dashboard creation.
• Strong communication skills to translate data insights into business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling and actionable visualizations and stories using Tableau to support business insights.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements, uncover insights, and become a key resource for data questions.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and opportunities within datasets.
• Design and build aggregates and semantic layers that support high-performance reporting.
• Validate data quality and document data flows, metrics definitions, and dashboards to support governance.
