Job summary

Insight Global in Atlanta is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to develop dashboards and data solutions, promote BI functions, and increase Tableau usage across end-users. You will partner with stakeholders, maintain Tableau Server data marts, and deliver reports and KPIs to support business needs.

Ideal candidates will have strong Tableau and SQL experience, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with departments and personnel
• Maintain new data marts for Tableau Server
• Streamline and improve reports following policies and data definitions
• Respond to ad hoc information requests and configure reports
• Identify data governance issues and collaborate with Sr. Developers to fix them
• Partner with clients to support ongoing reporting needs
• Develop custom reporting solutions using Tableau
• Design, build and deliver new reports, measures, and KPIs
• Take initiative to drive project architecture and processes
• Develop understanding of data structures to ensure reports meet client needs

Job description

Day to day: Responsible for developing dashboards and data solutions in conjunction with key initiatives. Assists with the development and promotion of business intelligence functions. Maintains strict confidentiality with all patients, employee and company information. Stays informed on new technologies and identifies opportunities to improve Business Intelligence processes. Proactively seeks opportunities to increase usage of Tableau among current end-users. Reports to the Manager of Business Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage effective working relationships with other departments, groups and personnel with whom work must be coordinated or interfaced
• Maintains new data marts for use in Tableau Server.
• Streamlines and improves existing reports with adherence to defined policies and data definitions across financial systems.
• Responds to ad hoc requests for information from systems and assists with configuration of reports in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
• Identifies data governance issues and partner with Sr. Developers to correct those issues.
• Partner with clients to support ongoing reporting needs
• Develop custom reporting solutions using Tableau.
• Design, build and deliver new reports, measures, and KPIs
• Take initiative where appropriate to drive project architecture and processes
• Develop in-depth understanding of underlying data, data structures, and business uses to ensure reports meet client needs

Must Haves:

• EXCELLENT communication skills & ability to dig in and have a conversation with the customer regarding what is needed
• Strong experience with Tableau and SQL
• Skill and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
