Job summary

Reynaers Aluminium is seeking a BI Developer to translate complex data into clear insights and help drive data-driven decisions. You will build Qlik Sense dashboards across departments and connect IT with the business to enable standardized, automated reporting.

You will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders, model data, and train users on proper data input. This role is based at the Reynaers Campus in Duffel, Belgium.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (IT/Data/Business Administration or Economics).
• Strong BI concepts and data experience; knowledge of data modelling and Qlik Sense is a major plus.
• Ability to work independently, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; strong communication across levels.

In this role, you are both a technical expert and the connecting link between IT and the business. What you will do:

• Translating needs: You align closely with the various departments to clearly map out their reporting needs and wishes.


• Data analysis & structure: Together with your colleagues, you collect data from diverse sources. You identify patterns, correlations and trends to accurately monitor processes.


• Dashboarding & optimization: You optimize existing datasets and build clear, user-friendly Qlik Sense dashboards, with a focus on standardization and automation.


• Knowledge sharing & training: As an expert, you work together with colleagues and external partners to train key users. You advise them on the importance of correct data input.

This is your profile:

• Your background: You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (such as IT, Data, Business Administration or Economics).


• BI & data experience: You have strong knowledge of business intelligence concepts and techniques. Experience with data modelling and Qlik Sense (or a similar BI tool) is a major plus.


• Competencies: You work excellently independently, have an eye for detail and never lose sight of accuracy.


• Language: You are a strong communicator and express yourself fluently in Dutch and English.
