Job summary

The Urban Electric Co. is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions, KPI dashboards, and data visualizations across the business.

You will partner with stakeholders from needs assessment through ETL, data modeling, UI design, and end-user training to enable data-driven decisions. Ideal candidates will have 4+ years of experience, proficiency with Python or R for analytics, and familiarity with Google Analytics/Data Studio and SSRS.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of demonstrated ability developing comprehensive reporting and dashboard solutions.
• Ability to understand and analyze complex data sets.
• Skilled at building stunning data visuals.
• Prior experience using Python or R for developing predictive analytics.
• Experience with Google Analytics or Google Data Studio.
• Working knowledge of SSRS or equivalent report writer solutions.
• Thrives while working in a collaborative environment.
• Effectively and professionally communicates with all departments and levels of organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions, KPI dashboards, and data visualizations for all areas of the business.
• Partner with the business end-to-end from needs assessment through ETL, data modeling, UI design, and end-user training.
• Collaborate with internal clients to deliver end-to-end reporting and analytics solutions.
• Assess reporting needs and opportunities; create intuitive documentation and user tutorials.
• Develop and design a central reporting repository and contribute to data governance.
