Job summary

Jobtailor in Minneapolis seeks a Senior BI Lead to own and evolve the company’s BI stack. You will enable data-driven decision making by shaping reporting, dashboards and data platforms, while leading a team of data specialists.

You’ll partner with stakeholders to set priorities, educate on BI capabilities, and drive agile delivery within budgets and deadlines. Strong Power BI skills and leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• Senior level experience with BI leadership and Power BI
• Proven ability to transform a reporting function
• 1+ years leadership experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to meet fixed deadlines and SLAs
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Good troubleshooting and data-driven decision making

Responsibilities

• Own, build and maintain the BI stack
• Enable data-driven decision making across the business
• Manage BI demand in an agile, priority-aligned manner
• Resourcing and empowering a team of data specialists
• Engage stakeholders to align expectations and educate on BI capabilities
• Assist in developing product roadmaps related to data/BI
• Prioritize and assess impact of features, defects, and backlog items
• Inspire business users with BI, reporting and dashboards
• Run BI training sessions for new joiners and existing staff
• Work within budgets and project deadlines set by the business
