Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Business Intelligence Data Analyst to design and develop data models and BI visualizations using BI tools, enabling data-driven decision making across departments.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, build end-to-end data sets, optimize models, and deliver self-service dashboards leveraging SQL, Python, and Excel/VBA. This role requires a bachelor’s degree in information systems and 3–5 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems and 3–5 years of related work experience.
• Proficient with Advanced SQL and relational databases.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to propose data-driven solutions.
• Excellent written and oral communication, including presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end design and maintenance of BI datasets, data models, reports, dashboards and visualizations.
• Designs, develops and optimizes data models for the business unit and other departments.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to understand data needs and delivers BI dashboards, Python scripts, or Excel/VBA reports.
• Enhances insights with robust, intuitive data visualizations and proactive analyses.
• Leverages ERP data to model and report on business performance.
• Coordinates and structures data files from multiple sources for efficient reporting.
• Partners with IT to ensure BI security standards for data and QVD usage.
• Builds relationships across teams to improve processes and governance.
