Job summary

Motion Industries in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks a BI Pricing & Data Analyst to design and maintain Power BI solutions, translate ERP data into trusted models, and deliver dashboards that support pricing decisions for sales and operations.

You will work with Finance, Sales, Product, and Ops to migrate from Qlik Sense to Power BI, enforce data governance, and provide self-service analytics while ensuring accuracy and timely insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, data analytics, finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of BI, analytics, or pricing analytics experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP, sales, pricing, cost data, or enterprise reporting is preferred.
• Experience supporting BI platform migrations or enterprise reporting transformations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Power BI dataflows, semantic models, reports, dashboards, and visualizations for pricing analytics.
• Create robust data models using Power Query and DAX ensuring data quality and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business questions into analytics solutions, including Python programs and Excel tools.
• Migrate Qlik Sense applications to Power BI, map requirements, test, and drive user adoption.
• Develop pricing dashboards showing price realization, margin performance, and trends; support governance and security.
