Join to apply for the BI and AI Data Modeler role at Primoris Services Corporation.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented BI Data Modeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with various departments to develop enterprise data models that meet reporting and analytics needs. This role requires strong data modeling skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of business processes.

You will collaborate with business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects to ensure data is modeled and optimized to meet business goals. Understanding source systems and supporting key business processes is essential. You will develop and modify data models to support data engineering activities and conduct business process analysis and requirements gathering. A strong background in Databricks, Power BI Semantic Models, DAX, SQL, and Python is required.

Experience or ability in developing ML and AI models is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop enterprise data models using various data sources for Power BI reporting.
• Collaborate with teams to design the 'Gold' layer within a Medallion Architecture.
• Implement data security and masking standards across data stores and reporting layers.
• Communicate model structures effectively to visualization and analytics teams.
• Write complex DAX and SQL queries for data manipulation.
• Assist in evolving ML and AI model development processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience ensuring data quality and organizing data models.
• Experience with AI platforms and data modernization.
• Proficiency in Azure, Databricks, SQL, Python, Power BI, and DAX.
• Experience working with clients under tight deadlines.
