Job summary

Bollinger Shipyards, Inc. is seeking a BI/Analytics Engineer to design and deliver enterprise dashboards and semantic models across operations and leadership.

You will work with business stakeholders, analytics leadership, and data engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable analytics solutions. In this role you will optimize data models, define KPIs, ensure governance, and support self-service analytics with self-service adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 5–8 years in BI or analytics engineering.
• Strong Power BI and SQL skills; experience with enterprise reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets.
• Build and manage semantic data models and KPI definitions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
• Optimize dashboards for usability, performance, and governance.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure data availability.
• Define metrics and reporting needs with stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation for reports and standards.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and validate data accuracy.
• Promote analytics governance across business areas.
