Job summary

Magellan Health is seeking a Network Business Analyst II to assemble information for BI solutions within analytics projects. You will define specifications for reports, dashboards, and data resources while mentoring user communities and supporting data governance efforts.

The role requires 2+ years in BI, strong query skills, and familiarity with data warehousing concepts, with opportunities to lead small projects and collaborate across IT and business teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in business intelligence and analytics.
• Ability to write basic queries using standard query languages.
• Familiarity with business analysis principles and project management methodologies.
• Quickly learning and applying new technologies to meet business needs.
• Working knowledge of data warehousing and BI concepts and data modeling.
• Experience overseeing project scope and delivering small to midsize projects.

Responsibilities

• Assemble information needed for BI solutions in analytics projects.
• Define specifications for reports, dashboards, and data resources.
• Train users on BI tools and self-service capabilities.
• Assist in data flow diagrams and needs assessments.
• Interviews with stakeholders to determine requirements for requests.
• Support project leads with task management and coordination.
• Assist with metadata and glossary management in data assets.
• Collaborate with IT on non-functional requirements and planning.
