Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to build complex reports for the Healthcare Education Team. The role partners with commercial, analytics, and senior stakeholders to modernize reporting workflows and deliver scalable BI solutions across Snowflake and related BI tools.

We expect 3+ years' SQL experience in Snowflake/Databricks/SSRS and 3+ years creating dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on SQL experience using Snowflake, Databricks, SSRS or similar data platforms.
3+ years of developing dashboards/reports in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
Experience converting legacy reporting into automated BI and dashboards.

Responsibilities

Own development and enhancement of Trade and Commercial Reporting across Snowflake, Tableau, and BI environments.
Apply AI tools to improve analysis, documentation, workflow efficiency, and reporting development.
Convert legacy Excel-based workflows into scalable dashboards and automated reports.
Support reporting migrations by translating legacy queries and rules into new data warehouses.
Validate reporting outputs for accuracy and consistency across environments.
Gather requirements from senior stakeholders and deliver actionable reporting outputs.
Investigate data discrepancies and coordinate resolutions with business and technical partners.
Maintain documentation for reporting processes, data definitions, and mappings.
Manage multiple reporting priorities with attention to detail.
