Job summary

Talantir is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst contractor to support revenue and advertising analytics. You will build dashboards, perform data modeling, and optimize ETL processes in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Data Engineering.

The role is split 50/50 between insights/visualization and ETL/data work in the first year, with a plan to shift toward more visualization duties as the project matures. Experience in advertising analytics is preferred.

Qualifications

• The HTML specifies SQL: Intermediate level required (ability to read, write, and debug queries).
• Data Visualization Tools: Experience with major BI tools (Tableau, QuickSight, Power BI, Domo); current environment uses Domo with no prior required.
• Data Modeling & ETL: Highly preferred but not required (can be learned).
• Python: Nice-to-have (intermediate preferred).
• Ability to translate business questions into data solutions and vice versa.
• Experience collaborating cross functionally, ideally including Sales teams.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards for advertising and revenue performance.
• Create meaningful insights using data visualizations.
• Translate reporting needs into technical solutions with stakeholders.
• Present dashboards and insights to non-technical audiences.
• Support and maintain ETL pipelines during system migration.
• Collaborate with data engineering to ensure clean data.
• Assist in data modeling and transformation (preferred).
• Troubleshoot SQL queries and pipeline issues.
