Summary

We are seeking a BI Analyst to create reports and dashboards for business stakeholders that provide insights for decision-making. This BI Analyst will use advanced analytics tools to extract, clean, analyze, and visualize data.

Responsibilities

1. Design and enhance dashboards.
2. Develop data models in Power BI.
3. Create interactive visualizations and geospatial maps.
4. Translate business needs into analytics solutions.
5. Clean and transform data using Power Query.
6. Collaborate with departments for data needs.
7. Support and troubleshoot Power BI reports.
8. Work with IT to fulfill reporting requests.
9. Provide training on reporting and analytics.

Requirements

1. Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Power Query, and Power BI.
2. Basic knowledge of DAX formulas.
3. Experience with Power Query, Microsoft Fabric, and data transformation.
4. Experience creating Power BI visuals and map visualizations (ArcGIS).
5. Solid understanding of database management and data warehousing.
6. Knowledge of API integrations and data source management.

This is a 6-month Contract-for-Hire remote opportunity for our Michigan-based client.
