Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking an Epic Business Intelligence Admin II to modernize analytics and streamline reporting. The role focuses on migrating from Business Objects/Crystal to Epic Reporting, Tableau, and cloud solutions, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and scalability.

The candidate will work with the BI team in a primarily remote setting, located in the DFW area or willing to relocate, and will support multiple reporting tools across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field; 4 years of experience in lieu of degree (Required).
• Experience in BI reporting environments including Epic Reporting, BOE/Crystal, Cognos, or SQL Server reporting tools.
• Experience with Relational Databases and SQL (MS SQL Server, DB2, Oracle).
• Experience in systems security, performance tuning, and web server maintenance.
• Experience translating user requirements into detailed technical specs; Epic Clarity/Caboodle/Cogito preferred.

Responsibilities

• Modernize analytics by migrating from Business Objects/Crystal to Epic native reporting and Tableau.
• Support and maintain Cognos/BOE/Crystal/SSRS or Epic reporting environments across dev/test/prod.
• Collaborate with DBAs, ETL architects, analysts, and data architects on data marts and warehouse changes.
• Document reports and maintain standards, providing mentoring and knowledge sharing.
• Provide accurate estimates, triage incidents, and meet service level agreements.
• Design and deploy enterprise reporting solutions and self-service capabilities.
• Develop data marts with architecture that supports a single version of the truth.
