Job summary

PMHCC, Inc. is seeking a BHID Behavioral Specialist in Philadelphia to join a multidisciplinary team. The role focuses on assessment, plan development, and integration into the community, working with individuals with complex mental health and ID needs.

The incumbent will operate evenings or weekends as needed, provide on-site support, and collaborate with staff, families and police or community partners to promote recovery and independence.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a clinical mental health discipline with graduate coursework in assessment and treatment.
• Minimum two years of verified paid experience in mental health treatment.
• LBS license required or eligible for licensure in PA.

Responsibilities

• Develop behavioral assessments and plans with the treatment team.
• Participate in treatment and linkage meetings; provide technical assistance.
• Develop Crisis and Safety Plans with the team.
• Support WRAP development with CPS staff.
• Maintain detailed records and reports; monitor behaviors and triggers.
