The position partners with Clinical Supervisors, oversees referrals and intakes, and drives operational excellence. A background in case management, strong boundary setting, and mentoring is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field preferred unless equivalent experience.
• MSW/MHC or related strongly preferred.
• MHRT-C certification required or obtained prior to start.
• Three years of behavioral health experience with supervisory/lead role.
• Strong documentation, scheduling, and interdepartmental collaboration.
• Valid Maine Driver’s License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: supervise Care Coordinators and provide field guidance.
• Program Intake & Flow: manage referrals and BHH intakes with Access; caseload support.
• Operational Excellence: use dashboards to monitor compliance and staffing; refine policies.
• Direct Care (Lead by Example): maintain a partial caseload to model high-quality service.
• Community Engagement: represent AWS BHH at state meetings and events.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Social Work / Psychology / Counseling

Master's degree preferred
