Job summary

AbsoluteCare Medical Center & Pharmacy seeks a Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) – LISW/LPCC in Columbus to join an integrated care team. Provides short-term, individualized clinical interventions for members with behavioral health needs, using trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing to support adherence and medical treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Licensed in-state with 3+ years in behavioral health.
• Licenses may include LISW or LPCC.
• Experience in community mental health or similar settings is preferred.
• Telehealth experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group behavioral health therapy and crisis intervention.
• Develop person-centered treatment plans with SMART goals.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary care team and PCP/psychiatrist.
• Document care in electronic health records within 3 business days.
• Promote adherence and engagement with treatment plans.
