Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Construction Scheduler for the Blue Grass Army Depot Energetics Center of Excellence project in Kentucky.

The role focuses on developing and maintaining complex baseline schedules, performing risk analyses, and delivering schedule insights to support critical decisions. Responsibilities include coordinating with engineering and project teams, ensuring adherence to schedules, and using Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel to drive progress reporting and scenario

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• 5–10 years’ experience in project scheduling, ideally within major infrastructure or water projects.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Understanding of EVM, SPI, schedule risk analysis, and progress measurement.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline schedules and prepare what‑if scenarios to support project decision‑making.
• Apply schedule risk management techniques, including contingency planning.
• Perform critical path analysis, schedule integrity reviews, and progress reporting.
• Build and manage resource‑loaded schedules, including producing histograms and schedule insights.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams to ensure sequencing accuracy and timely program delivery.
• Utilize tools including Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel (Power BI experience highly preferred).
• Support proposal development, capture activities, and long‑range program growth strategies.
• Other duties as assigned.

KBR is seeking a Senior Construction Scheduler for the construction of the new Blue Grass Army Depot Energetics Center of Excellence explosives manufacturing facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
• PMP or equivalent project management certification
• Experience scaling up New Molecule Energetics
• Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
• Experience supporting capture, proposal development, or program growth initiatives
• Strong executive‑level communication and presentation experience
• Travel may be required to support manufacturing sites, suppliers, and customers.
