Responsibilities include using X-ray inspection, tool-assisted soldering, documenting repairs, and maintaining traceability of replacement parts.

Qualifications

• Completion of the 72-Hour Soldering Training is required.

Responsibilities

• BGA Removal & Replacement: remove BGAs without damaging the board.
• Component Identification: identify BGAs designated for removal and replacement.
• Precision Repair: repair boards with heavy ground planes while preventing defects.
• Material Traceability: obtain correct replacement parts with proper traceability.
• X-Ray Inspection: use X-ray to inspect repairs and detect defects.
• Scrap & Documentation: process scrap and document repairs.
• Data Entry: log repair actions and move boards to the correct location.
• Tool Utilization: use soldering irons, air pencils, and solder wicks.
