Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions has a direct-hire opening for a Forklift Operator in Cold Spring, MN (and St. Cloud, MN). You will operate sit-down forklifts in a fast-paced beverage packaging environment, following GMPs and safety protocols.

You’ll support FEFO/FIFO inventory control, maintain accurate counts, and help with packaging, labeling, and daily shift handoffs. The role includes benefits and requires reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a high-speed production environment in the past 3 years.
• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift.
• Verbal and written communication in English.
• Willingness to work around noise, dust, and production chemicals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the equipment per GMPs and Safety protocols.
• Assist in the setup and control of the FEFO/FIFO Inventory System to ensure uninterrupted flow of product and materials.
• Model loads and paperwork handling best practices.
• Train/mentor new hires as assigned by the Supervisors.
• Ensure production has the correct packaging for the day.
• Keep an accurate count of the finished product.
• Submit daily counts to the office at the end of each shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Adhere to and comply with quality production and Food Safety.
