Job summary

Qualifications

• 21 years of age.
• Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-year bartending and/or serving experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise bartenders, cocktail servers, and barbacks.
• Assist Beverage Manager with hiring, training, motivating staff.
• Manage labor hours, cash control, and inventory.
• Promote a positive work environment and team building.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and staff reviews.
• Schedule bartenders, cocktail servers, and barbacks to meet payroll costs.
• Track employee hours and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• BARTEND and/or serve beverages when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with Iowa health and alcohol regulations.
• Document activities and inventory; monitor costs and beverage quality.
