Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is hiring a Merchandiser to stock Coca-Cola beverages in retail accounts, filling end caps and displays and rotating products for freshness. The role runs Tue-Sat from 5am to 1:30pm, with responsibilities including display maintenance, backroom organization, and close collaboration with store teams.

Requirements include 1+ year retail/warehouse experience, 18+ years old, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift and move product.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and minimum of one year of work experience required.
• Minimum of one year of work experience in grocery, retail, warehouse, manual labor or related field is required.
• Must be 18 years of age and legally eligible to work.
• Must have a personal vehicle for use during working hours.
• Valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, driving record within policy guidelines including no major violations within the last three years.
• Pallet jacks and high loader lifts experience preferred; ability to obtain powered industrial truck certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and replenish products in store shelves, racks, displays, and coolers by transporting product between backroom/storage to the sales floor.
• Build, change, or remove product displays while adhering to company standards; maintain signage and organize space.
• Manage backroom inventory and report levels in partnership with the account manager; apply FIFO.
• Evaluate damaged product, re-pack, and handle backstock; complete required paperwork.
• Communicate with accounts and store personnel; share recap photos and coordinate with sales on stock.
• Maintain professional relationships with coworkers and customers.
