Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Beverage Steward to assist customers with wine and beer selections, provide friendly, informative guidance, and help shoppers feel confident in their choices.

You will stock, rotate and organize displays, monitor inventory, and execute merchandising plans while maintaining department standards in a fast‑paced retail environment. If you enjoy engaging customers, building product knowledge, coordinating with vendors, and working as part of a team, this role

Qualifications

• Clear customer communication with accurate product information.
• Basic wine and beer knowledge; willingness to learn product characteristics and pairings.
• Ability to convey pricing and promotions clearly.
• Maintain pricing, labeling, rotation and presentation accuracy.

• Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.

You'll assist with product selection, answer questions, and share helpful insights so customers leave confident in their choices, whether it's a quick recommendation or a thoughtful pairing for a meal or occasion.

You'll assist with product selection, answer questions, and share helpful insights so customers leave confident in their choices, whether it's a quick recommendation or a thoughtful pairing for a meal or occasion. You also maintain department conditions throughout the day by stocking, rotating, and organizing products while keeping displays full and visually consistent. You monitor inventory levels, complete ordering tasks, and follow merchandising plans and standards. This role operates in a fast‑paced retail environment where consistency, organization, and product awareness contribute to overall department performance.

• Physical Capability: Ability to lift and move products up to 50lbs, stand for extended periods, and remain active throughout the shift
  

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
• Compliance with all alcohol sales regulations and company policies
