Job summary

Grand Casino Mille Lacs is seeking a Beverage Shift Supervisor to oversee bar operations, drink preparation, and team leadership. You will ensure quality, safety, and guest satisfaction while managing inventory and training staff.

This role requires 3+ years in beverage service, 2+ years in a supervisory capacity, and certifications (Serv-Safe, Alcohol Awareness) with licensing through the Gaming Regulatory Authority. Join a team focused on exceptional service and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of progressive Food & Beverage experience in a beverage service role.
  • Two (2) years of supervisory or managerial experience, preferably in hospitality with an emphasis on F&B.
  • Serv-Safe Certification. Training is provided for the certification within one year of placement.
  • Alcohol Awareness training. Training is provided within 2 months of employment.
  • Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
  • Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s).
  • Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.

The Opportunity

As the Beverage Shift Supervisor at Grand Casinos, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of beverage service and operations during your shift.   • Monitor beverage quality, consistency, and presentation, ensuring that all drinks meet or exceed the established standards.
  • Conduct regular checks of equipment, cleanliness, and organization of the bar area, taking appropriate action to address any issues.
  • Prepare reports on beverage sales, inventory, and other relevant metrics as required by management.

What Qualifies You

  • Two (2) years of supervisory or managerial experience, preferably in hospitality with an emphasis on Food & Beverage; or an equivalent combination of demonstrated leadership experience gained through employment, community involvement, tribal organizations, military service, volunteer activities, training responsibilities, or other comparable experiences.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Serv-Safe Certification. Training is provided for the certification that is required within one (1) year of placement.
  • Alcohol Awareness training. Training is provided for the certification that is required within 2 months of employment.
  • Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
