Job summary

S&D Coffee is seeking a Beverage Service Technician to join our service team. You will deliver technical and customer-service excellence for beverage equipment, train customers when needed, and maintain company assets. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift 50 lbs are required. Travel will be involved to support customers and business needs.

We provide the vehicle, phone and tablet, and we expect you to uphold professional standards and strong communication with customers at all times.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently during shifts.
• Strong communication skills and desire to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive industry-defining technical and service delivery.
• Resolve issues promptly and professionally, exceeding expectations.
• Complete all assigned work and related paperwork.
• Provide equipment training as needed to ensure quality beverage delivery.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to company policies.
• Communicate clearly with customers in writing and verbally.
• Travel as needed to support customers and business needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Field Service Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure your customers receive industry defining technical and customer service.
• Exceed expectations by listening to and resolving customer issues in a timely manner.
• Complete all assigned work and associated paperwork.
• Provide equipment training as needed to ensure quality beverage delivery to your customers.
• Adhere to all company policies and standards.
• Professionally communicate both verbally and in writing with customers as needed.
• Present yourself in a professional manner. Well groomed and neat appearance.
• Responsibly care for company assets (vehicles, equipment & parts).
• Maintain a good safety record.
• Effectively maintain your service vehicle and inventory to company standards.
• Travel as needed to respond to and support customer and business needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Field Service Manager.

Requirements

• Must be insurable with a good driving record and a valid drivers license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently each workday
• Good working knowledge of tablet, cell phone, etc
• Mechanical aptitude
• Abilty to communicate professionally with customers at all levels and strong desire to provide excellent customer service
• Prior technical/mechanical work experience is a strong plus
• Abilty to adhere to the Technician scorecard metrics
