Position Summary

Under general direction from the Beverage Services Manager, responsible for supervising Food and Beverage personnel in assigned food venue or area. Ensures beverage services meet quality, service, safety, and guest standards. Develops and maintains a high-performing Beverage Team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Assist in developing beverage strategic plans, policies, and programs to optimize operations, inventory, and costs, maximizing profitability and achieving F & B goals.
  2. Ensure beverage and food services adhere to standards, including cleanliness and appearance of the venue.
  3. Monitor training of personnel, including service sequences, ServSafe, and guest service standards, providing necessary tools for effective performance.
  4. Ensure compliance with casino, food, and beverage policies, procedures, and regulations.
  5. Maintain visibility in outlets and on the casino floor during shifts.
  6. Assist in scheduling and evaluating team members, supporting their career development through mentoring and coaching.
  7. Address guest concerns following service standards and procedures.
  8. Conduct staff meetings to facilitate communication.
  9. Report on beverage activities and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  10. Attend BEO meetings and oversee banquet beverage standards.
  11. Support inventory and cost control for beverages, equipment, and supplies.
  12. Comply with all alcohol beverage laws.
  13. Support restaurant and banquet operations as needed.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Access & Signatory Authority

Access to F&B storage area. Authority to approve department orders, requisitions, and personnel forms.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; three (3) years of cash handling and guest service experience; supervisory experience preferred. Must pass pre-employment screening, background check, and obtain gaming license.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of food and beverage industry principles, safety standards, and beverage operations.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Leadership skills in supervising, training, and evaluating staff.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and interpret laws and regulations.
Physical Demands & Work Environment

Requires standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, and sensory acuity. Work may be outdoors or indoors, with exposure to various environmental conditions, noise, and smoke. Extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be necessary.
