Job summary

The Bois Forte Band is hiring a Beverage Server (Full-Time) in Tower, MN. You will deliver prompt and courteous beverage service, maintain a secure bank, and keep a clean, organized station in a fast-paced casino environment.

You will greet guests, suggest beverages, handle payments, check IDs, and follow state liquor regulations while promoting responsible gaming and staying informed about casino promotions and events. Training and certification (TIPS) are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Assist guests in selecting and recommending beverages.
• Serve beverages in accordance with procedures to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked beverage station.
• Monitor and report inventory shortages to management.
• Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines to avoid over-serving.
• Collect payments and process transactions.
• Check IDs.
• Maintain knowledge of liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections.
• Abide by state liquor regulations; prohibit service to minors or intoxicated individuals.
• Understand casino promotions and amenities to assist guests.
• Reinforce the casino's responsible gaming message.
• Attend mandatory TIPS training and obtain certification.
• Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy; keep bank secure.
• Remove empty bottles and glasses; keep area neat.
• Communicate last call at closing time.
• Stay in section and be visible; keep area clean.
• Know how to cut someone off professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Meet guest service standards; demonstrate teamwork and reliability.
