Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a friendly, energetic team member to join our beverage service team at our casino venues. You will provide fast, courteous service to gaming guests, promote events, and act as an ambassador of goodwill.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong English communication, and the ability to handle money accurately. As a 21+ team member, you will work flexible shifts including nights and weekends in a dynamic gaming environment.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.
• Read, write legibly, understand and speak English.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, professional beverage service to gaming guests; carry full trays on every round.
• Promote gaming events and programs; act as ambassador of goodwill.
• Resolve service problems according to guidelines and use guest name.
• Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines.
• Work well with beverage servers, bartenders, barbacks, beverage supervisor, and gaming supervisor.

- Must be 21 years of age - Must enjoy hosting others - Must have an outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude - Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests - High school diploma or equivalent - Read, write legibly, understand and speak English - Excellent customer service/communication skills - Count money and change correctly - Know or is able to learn tray service, cocktail ingredients - Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed - Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy - Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation - Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues - Must be able to lift and carry 20 lbs. (full cocktail tray) for extended periods of time - Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment - Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
