Job summary

The Mint Gaming Hall Cumberland is seeking a beverage server to take and deliver drink orders on site in a hospitality-focused casino environment. You will handle payments, ensure accurate cash handling, and engage guests to provide memorable service.

Applicants should be at least 21, possess a GED or high school diploma, and be prepared to obtain required certifications (alcohol awareness, alcohol management, STAR) as required by local laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to obtain work cards and alcohol awareness cards.
• Must be 21 years of age or older (per local regulations).
• Must obtain alcohol management certification and STAR Certification before start date.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Efficiently and accurately takes and delivers beverage orders in a timely and friendly manner.
• Handles cash and credit transactions associated with beverage sales, accurately and efficiently.
• Provides appropriate change to guests.
• Proactively seeks guest opportunities and anticipates guest’s needs to create "magical moments".
• Interacts with guests in a friendly manner while taking drink orders, to include up-selling.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
• Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
• Must be able to obtain required work cards, alcohol awareness cards and non-gaming registration as required by the local jurisdiction.
• Must be 20 + 1-day years of age or older.
• Obtain alcohol management certification as required.
• Must be able to obtain and provide STAR Certification prior to start date.
