Job summary

Heritage Hotels & Resorts in New Mexico seeks a Beverage Server to deliver elevated service with guest-focused hospitality. You will greet guests, take orders, recommend beverages, and prepare both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to exacting standards.

Responsibilities include accurate order delivery, POS transactions, maintaining stations, upholding safety and cleanliness, and collaborating with bartenders and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous hospitality or food & beverage experience preferred.
• Luxury or upscale service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive professional interaction with guests, team members and leadership.
• Provide attentive beverage service per luxury standards.
• Greet guests, take orders and offer knowledgeable recommendations.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following recipes.
• Ensure accuracy of orders and proper delivery in bar, lounge or dining areas.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to requests or concerns.
• Check identification and follow responsible alcohol service practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and bar areas.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of bar and service areas.
• Collaborate with bartenders and kitchen to ensure seamless service flow.
• Process orders and payments accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain knowledge of current beverage menus, specials and promotions.
• Follow safety, sanitation and alcohol compliance standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and professional appearance.
• Protect company assets and confidentiality of information.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous hospitality or food and beverage experience preferred
• Luxury or upscale service experience preferred
• Experience with POS systems preferred
• Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification required
• Strong communication, multitasking and customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of restaurant point of sale systems.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push and pull up to 25+ pounds.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
