Job summary

Heritage Restaurant Group, part of New Mexico’s largest locally owned hospitality company, invites you to join the Sawmill Market bar team as Bartender in Albuquerque. You’ll craft beverages for bar guests and dining service, delivering warm, professional experiences in a fast-paced food hall environment.

The role requires strong customer service, knowledge of cocktails, beer and wine, and strict adherence to safety and alcohol service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of beverage preparation and responsible service.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems.
• Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages for bar guests and dining service.
• Deliver warm, professional, and seamless guest experiences.
• Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming bar environment.
• Maintain proper alcohol service standards and verify guest identification.
• Accurately handle cash and credit transactions and complete tip reporting.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and lounge areas.
• Manage bar inventory, restocking, and storage of supplies.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and company service standards.
• Maintain a polished, professional appearance at all times.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, and pull 30+ pounds.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
