Job summary

ilani, located on the Cowlitz Reservation in Ridgefield, Washington, seeks a guest-focused team member to provide beverage service on the gaming floor. You will take drink orders, serve alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages, and handle payments at the POS in accordance with procedures.

Position Summary:

Provides world class guest service on our gaming floor, taking drink orders, serving alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages to guests, and taking payment for purchases in accordance with departmental procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promotes superior guest service.
• Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
• Consistently demonstrates collaborative, relationship building, welcoming and mutually respectful behaviors.
• Serves alcoholic and other beverages to guests, including the casino floor, cocktail lounges and other areas as needed.
• Uses point of sale terminal and completes other cashiering functions.
• Consistently applies knowledge of state liquor laws including proper identification procedures, monitoring levels of intoxication, intervention strategies, refusal of service, and shutoff procedures.
• Responsible for the handling all payment methods.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED;
• Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
• One year of experience serving in a high-volume food and beverage setting.
• A successful candidate must be 21 years of age or.
• Must be dependable, flexible, and available to work any shift, especially nights and weekends.
• This is a standing position, and includes bending and lifting, you must be able to do this job effectively for an 8-hour shift.
• Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
• Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.

Work Shift:

Wages: This role offers a starting wage of $17.13 per hour. Candidates with relevant experience may be placed higher within the established pay range.
