Job summary

Edgewater Gaming, LLC is seeking a Beverage Server to support the beverage department by delivering prompt, accurate, and friendly service to guests in a casino environment. You will follow cash handling procedures and assist guests with beverage options while upholding the company’s guest service standards.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of beverage or customer service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
• Take orders, serve drinks, and assist guests with beverage options in a professional and engaging manner
• Accurately follow all cash handling and Micros POS procedures
• Request identification from guests when legal age is questioned
• Follow all food and beverage regulations and safety procedures
• Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
• Verify right to work in the United States
