Position Summary

Providing exceptional beverage service to guests throughout the gaming floor, including slot machines, table games, and the high‑limit gaming area. Responsibilities include taking and fulfilling drink orders promptly, maintaining cleanliness in service areas, collaborating with colleagues, and engaging with guests to ensure a positive experience. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides excellent customer service through friendly communication and positive interaction to establish guest perception of exceptional hospitality.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • When assigned to the table games area, approaches customers only when cards are not in play and between deals.
  • Ensures the gaming area is properly maintained by removing empty cups and trash.
  • Clears casino floor drink stations, self‑service stations, and all equipment, ensuring health‑and‑safety regulations are maintained.
  • Replenishes supplies in assigned areas such as ice, cups, napkins, and soda bibs.
  • Stocks refrigeration units with product to proper bar levels using the FIFO rotation system and replaces empty soda bibs with safe lifting techniques.
  • Attends daily stand‑up meetings to ensure property communications are understood.
  • Completes computer‑assisted training in a timely manner.
  • Logs temperature records every shift.
  • Informs supervisor of additional products needed.
  • Checks equipment daily and reports problems to the supervisory team.
  • Operates and maintains all equipment and utensils in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures.
  • Operates the POS System within the Poker Room, rings proper amounts into the register, and provides correct change to guests.
  • Maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities.
  • Ensures IG cash registers are kept clean.
  • Responsible for accurately tendering and presenting checks to guests within the Poker Room.
  • Punctual and regular attendance is essential. Report to work based upon the assigned schedule in accordance with the Attendance Policy.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Understanding of beverage service procedures and protocols.
  • Knowledge of minimum temperature requirements for food and drink preservation.
  • Knowledge of tribal, federal, state, and local sanitary regulations regarding the preparation, maintenance, storage, and sale of food and drink products.
  • Knowledgeable in basic sanitation in accordance with Indian Health Services requirements.
  • Ability to understand and accurately relay guests’ orders via point‑of‑sale program.
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
  • Professional treatment of the general public and attentiveness to customer needs.
  • Accurate cash handling and change‑making skills.

Education and Experience

  • Successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
