Job summary

Power Brands is seeking a highly skilled food scientist to personally take a beverage concept through formula development and bench work to a finished product. You will transform client briefs into actionable formulas, prototype, iterate, and refine to achieve desired taste, function and stability, delivering market-ready beverages across categories.

The role requires at least 5 years in beverage-focused food science, a proven concept-to-product track record, and full-time on-site work in Los

Qualifications

• At least 5 years as a food scientist in the beverage industry, or 5+ years as a food scientist with part of that time in beverage.
• Proven track record of taking a beverage from concept to formula to finished product with your own hands.
• Able to work full-time on-site in Los Angeles

Responsibilities

• Turn client concepts into working formulas
• Perform bench work yourself, including prototyping, iterating and refining until taste, function and stability are right
• Deliver finished products ready for commercialization
• Work across categories: functional, energy, hydration, RTD and more
