Job summary

Columbia Distributing is seeking a Sales Associate to drive sales, merchandising, and distribution goals inside assigned accounts. You will provide route relief for Sales Representatives, engage with suppliers and customers, and stay current on beer and beverage trends while aligning with company standards.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to travel within the day to customer accounts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required; Minimum of 21 years of age.
• 1 year of beverage industry sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell, rotate and merchandise the Columbia Distributing portfolio in all accounts.
• Provide route relief for Sales Representatives as scheduled.
• Interact respectfully with inter-company departments, suppliers and customers.
• Establish and maintain industry knowledge: beer, non-alcoholic, foods, trends and market share.
• Submit reporting, preplans, trackers, surveys, MVPs, and mileage logs by due date.
• Manage inventory expenses per policy.
• Monitor MVP Standards and competitive activity.
• Develop strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
