United, the largest beverage alcohol wholesaler in Georgia and Alabama, is seeking an entry-level Off Premise Sales Apprentice in Hoover, Pelham, and surrounding areas. You will train with sales teams, learn the sales rep role, and support routes, deliveries, displays, inventory and account relationships.

The role is ideal for a self-motivated, organized candidate who thrives on collaboration and fast onboarding into a sales career in a family-owned enterprise with strong regional growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of sales experience preferred.
• Ability to secure and maintain a State Alcohol Sales Permit in accordance with state laws.
• Valid driver's license in the applicable state.
• State minimum auto-liability insurance.
• Acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Train with sales team to understand all facets of United sales representative role.
• Drive to all call points and perform sales deliveries to accounts.
• Run vacation routes for sales representatives and build displays.
• Merchandise accounts and rotate stock, manage back stock.
• Build relationships with account management and delivery teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
