Job summary

United Distributors, Inc. in Alabama is seeking a Sales Apprentice to support vacation routes, deliveries, merchandising and account relations.

This entry-level role trains toward a Sales Representative position and requires organization, teamwork and strong communication. You'll drive to call points, build displays, manage stock and assist with product knowledge while maintaining safety and compliance with state alcohol regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High school or vocational school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of sales experience preferred.
• Ability to secure and maintain a State Alcohol Sales Permit in accordance with state laws.
• Valid driver’s license in the applicable state.
• State minimum auto-liability insurance.
• Acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Train and understand all facets of the United sales representative role.
• Drive to all call points.
• Perform sales deliveries to accounts.
• Run vacation routes for sales representatives.
• Sell new products or programs.
• Build displays in accounts.
• Merchandise accounts using point of sale material.
• Work back stock, shelf space, and cold boxes in accounts to ensure product rotation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with account management.
