Mitchell Companies in Nottingham, MD is seeking a Training and Quality Control Specialist for a full-time evening shift. You will audit beverage orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards, and help maintain inventory accuracy in the warehouse.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work with warehouse staff to resolve issues. Starting pay is $21.00 per hour plus a monthly bonus; schedule is 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough audits of beverage orders prior to shipment to verify accuracy and completeness.
• Inspect orders to ensure proper packaging, labeling, and compliance with company safety standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of audits, findings, and corrective actions taken.
• Assist with inventory management through cycle counts, inventory checks, and discrepancy investigations.
• Provide guidance and support to warehouse personnel on best practices for order fulfillment.
• Identify recurring issues or trends and report them to management to improve operational processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts if certified.
• Perform other warehouse or operational duties as assigned.
