Job summary

Refresco Beverages US Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support manufacturing operations in Tempe, AZ.

The role focuses on ensuring product quality and safety through lab analysis, raw material and finished product testing, and adherence to GMP/SQF standards. You will work in a fast-paced production environment, perform analytical tests, maintain records, and ensure compliance with customer specifications using SAP.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and SAP preferred.
• Exposure to using measurement tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM machines) preferred.
• Organized and detail oriented, adaptable to change.
• High level of precision and accuracy in inspection and testing processes.
• Familiarity with SQF, SAP, Six Sigma, GMP, and other relevant standards and regulations.
• Understanding of Food Safety Requirements.
• Able to read and understand metric system.
• Food or beverage laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to health and safety policies/procedures, GMPs and wear required PPE in warehouse/production areas.
• Ensure all products conform to customer specifications as outlined in SAP.
• Perform analysis on raw materials, finished batches, treated water or other outlines.
• Conduct chemical and physical analysis on raw and intermediate materials and determine status.
• Evaluate finished products against standards by audits of packaging integrity.
• Check process control parameters to ensure proper equipment application.
• Stop production if Food Safety is questionable and alert management.
• Maintain accurate test records and complete reports in a timely manner.
• Perform analytical tests to qualify ingredient batches for production.
• Perform production line checks at specified intervals.
• Maintain calibration of lab equipment and lab cleanliness.
• Report out-of-spec results to leadership.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
