Job summary

Cape Resorts Group is seeking a Beverage Manager for Congress Hall Hotel in Cape May, NJ. You will lead beverage operations, training, and guest service across all bar environments, aligning with brand standards and safety policies.

Responsibilities include managing staff, controlling costs, designing promotions, and maintaining inventory and quality. This role reports to the F&B Director and may serve as Manager on Duty in the evenings.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience in Food and Beverage venue.
• All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per Congress Hall standards.

Responsibilities

• Hire and motivate staff in all beverage outlets to provide excellent service to patrons.
• Manage the business aspects of the bar, controlling cost of goods and budgets.
• Design and launch promotional events to drive beverage sales.
• Set objectives and targets for beverage unit/bar and monitor performance.
• Train staff on liquor handling, service, and safety procedures.
• Oversee inventory, pars, ordering, and cost control; maintain wine and drink lists.
