Job summary

Danone North America is seeking a hands-on Production Line Leader in Dallas, TX to guide a 30+ person production team. You will drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement by coaching frontline staff, coordinating with maintenance and process engineering, and leading daily operations to meet production goals.

This role emphasizes people development, problem solving, and a culture of accountability. Strong leadership, communication, and Lean/continuous improvement experience are required to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading teams in food, beverage, or high-speed manufacturing.
• Proven ability to coach, develop and motivate teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to support a 24/7 operation, including off-shift coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership, coaching, and direction for production team members and line leadership partners.
• Develop talent through training, performance management, and ongoing coaching.
• Create an engaged and inclusive team culture prioritizing safety, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Support hiring decisions, workforce planning, and employee development initiatives.
• Own line performance across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Team Engagement metrics.
• Lead daily operations and ensure production goals are achieved efficiently and safely.
• Analyze performance data to identify losses, eliminate waste, and improve line capability.
• Facilitate Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings and execute action plans.
• Partner with Maintenance and Process Engineering to improve equipment reliability.
