Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a sanitation-focused employee to maintain clean and sanitary production areas in accordance with federal, state, and company guidelines. Responsibilities include equipment cleaning, micro-analysis sampling, start-up operations, and maintaining sanitation logs.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math and chemical safety knowledge, and teamwork in a wet environment. Visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of production or janitorial experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and chemical safety preferred.
• GMP background preferred.
• Forklift certification required.
• Good written and oral communication; ability to follow procedures.
• Read and understand chemical use instructions and precautions.
• Work in a team; comfortable in a wet environment; safety-focused.
• Able to work hours necessary to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Internally cleans and sanitizes processing equipment.
• Externally cleans and sanitizes processing equipment.
• Cleans non-processing equipment.
• Obtains samples for micro-analysis.
• Operates Microblend for morning start-up.
• Maintains sanitation logs and reports to document plant and equipment cleaning.
• Removes trash from areas inside the filling enclosure and work stations.
• Other duties as assigned.
